Wine Tasting at Glou Glou

Fancy trying some new wines but don't want to commit to a bottle? Our Wine tasting is the perfect evening out to try some new glasses. These tastings take place every first Wednesday of the month and follow a different theme.

April - Fitzroy Trafalgar taking you through the Atlantic Ocean to Portugal and Spain and seeing how vineyards are affected by the weather surrounding the Atlantic.

May - Natura delves into Nature with the latin derived term 'Natura' focusing on organic and biodynamic wines with clean farming at its centre.

June - Summer Solstice, the theme is related to an Italian Celebration. 

July - Aphrodisiacs! 

Tickets are 32.50 each and include 5 naturally delicious wines, locally sourced meats, cheese as well as a selection of bread. 

These tastings are held at Glou Glou, 17a Castle Gates in Shrewsbury, starting at 7pm and finishing by 9pm. However, the bar is open from 4 - 11pm so there's plenty of time for another glass. All wines used in the tasting will be available to buy if it becomes one of your favourites!
