These grapes are grown in the Galician garden of Eden in the Valle del Salnés, the Romans coined this name when they began growing grapes here and it’s a nod to the salty terroir. People often taste salinity in Albarino and claim the sea breeze influences the grapes, I’ll let you decide that.
