From the north coast of Tenerife, a Canary island that emerged out of the sea from volcanic eruptions a few million years ago. Due to the porous nature of these volcanic soils phylloxera wasn't able to survive here so many of the vines are on their original rootstock and are over 100 years old.  This wine is grown around the village of Los Realejos with local variety, Listan Blanco which is more commonly known as Palomino Fino in Southern Spain where it is one of the grape varieties used to make sherry. 

Floral, fresh, with a smoky, savoury character yet light on its feet. Very versatile, goes great with seafood or even South Asian cuisine.
