Sato Wines, Riesling 2022, Central Otago, New Zealand

Sato Wines Ltd was established by Yoshiaki Sato, and his wife, Kyoko Sato, as a small project in 2009. Kyoko and Yoshi met in 1998 at a Japanese bank, where they were working. After 12 years of work at the bank in Tokyo and London, they moved to New Zealand, aiming eventually to make their own wines. They settled in Central Otago and started their winemaking careers. 

This is a fruity wine perfect for pairing with dishes such as Thai Green curry. Ripe stone fruits, honey and florals on the nose followed by apples and citrus on the palate and complimented by a deliciously rich texture.
