A great organic red from the hills of Valencia. El Bon Homme is 50-50 split of indigneous varietal Monastrell grown on 40 year old ungrafted vines and Cabernet Sauvignon from ten year old vines grown on sandy soil. The english tasting notes on the rear label describe Monastrell as 'chubby and lush' so take that as you will... Plenty of plum and black fruits with soft tannins backed by a fresh acidity provided by the high altitude of the Valencian hills.
