Melaric is the passion project of Melanie and Aymeric (do you see what they've done there)? They started by renting vines in Saumur in the Loire Valley and then in 2008 they were able to buy their 4.5 hectare farm where the soil is clay on limestone, allowing the Cabernet franc and Grolleau in this wine to take on the tastes of the terroir.
