Compania de Vinos Heraclios was founded in the 70s in the heart of Rioja Baja in the town of Alfaro. Their name is an homage to a pioneer of Spanish aviation, Heraclio Alfaro Fourier as the vines are planted on a disused airfield and the winery is in a converted air hangar. 

This Crianza has had 12 months ageing in a combination of oak barrel and tank giving a light seasoning of oak and cedar qualities. Great ripe fruit flavours, jammy and plenty of spice. Dense, soft and fresh! Great with casseroles and stews.
