A bright, juicy and aromatic white from Spain. Comes with a cautionary tale to all financiers. Mostly Viura with 20% being a blend of local varieties as well as some Gruner Veltliner in the mix.

Wii Gonzalo Gonzalo is considered quite a character and is certainly determined. They had an idea to make low interference wine and set off to numerous banks where they were refused loans as wine was not considered a ‘impoundable assets’. Their determination and drive led them to friends and family and luckily they were able to turn their ideas to reality. As a little nod to the many bankers who refused their dreams, we have Gran Cerdo, literally ‘big pigs’ in English.
