Domaine des Laurier mainly focuses on growing Picpoul de Pinet, that famous white from the Mediterranean coast, grown on terraces overlooking saltwater lagoons. It has created this lovely white from grapes grown a little further inland on the garrigues. They follow the Terra Vitis approach to sustainability, a French organisation with over 700 vigneron members, their principles being to ‘respect of traditional savoir faire and the wine growing heritage in order to protect them and pass them on to future generations.'
This is a fresh dry white, made using two other local grape varieties well suited to the Mediterranean climate, and is perfect for sharing with friends over a cheese board.
