Carlos Lucas is farming on the 'Quinta do Ribeiro Santo', which translates as the Holy river estate and takes it's name from the stream which protects his vineyard from the neighbouring pine forests as well as the fact it was once owned by a priest many moons ago.

Hand harvested grapes which have been grown on poor granite and schist soil are carefully selected, in the winery they are Destemmed and macerated at a low temperature for 24 hours in stainless steel before fermentation begins over the next 12 days before further aging in stainless steel.

Black fruits and subtle pine on the nose, fruity and fresh with soft tannins. Great with grilled chicken and pasta.
