In deep Southern Spain next to Donana national park is where you will find the family run estate of Contreras Ruiz, an organic, sustainable vineyard and winery where everything is done by hand to retain the flavours of the terroir and the identity of their local varietals, most notably Zalema. This rosado is made from 100% Syrah, a grape that is growing well in Huelva for Contreras Ruiz and the wine is kept in contact with the skins until the perfect colour is found, a real hands on approach. This rosado is young and vibrant with soft red berry softness, perfect for salads and Mediterranean fish.
