Josep and Sergei Colet now manage the land their forefathers have farmed for over 200 years and if you ask them what they are deep down they will say farmers. They were able to purchase the land in the 1970’s and from then on they changed their outlook and their wine making style to quality rather than quantity, with Sergi’s Masters in Champagne background the quality shines through in bucket loads.
Their principles: ‘effort, perseverance, respect for nature and teamwork are our essential pillars’, and in doing so we can enjoy their Penedes Classic.
Organic and vegan this wine has spent 24 months on the lees bringing buttery bread notes balanced with elegant herbaceous and fruit flavours and a bone dry finish.
