From the foothills north of the Pyrenees where cool nights, warm breezes and a long season make for a complex, balanced and intensely aromatic white wine made from local variety Gros Manseng. Clos Lapeyre is a family-owned estate founded in 1920 originally dedicated to livestock and growing fruit other than grapes, but in 1985, third generation Larrieu, Jean-Bernard took over and replanted the entire 12ha estate with vines, all with organic and biodynamic practices at its core. This is a versatlie wine that will pair well with seafood, grilled fish, goats cheese or even charcuterie.
