Gaillac is a an appellation just North East of Toulouse. Where the Atlantic influence meets the Mediterranean and where local varietals are still growing strong.
Chateau Clement Termes was first established in 1868 and has remained in the David family ever since. They have a strong sense of tradition and have kept making their wines with these local varietals as they have for generations.
Made from local varieties this is distinctly Gaillac in character. The primary grape is Mauzac Blanc, a floral grape with peachy flavours and grassy notes , it is then blended with Loin de l’Oeil which brings it’s fuller body - floral with notes of pear and exotic fruits. Lively and fresh but ample and round. Great with shellfish and crustacea.
