Young Grenache from a certified organic vineyard in Wellington called Gesamelike Wei, which means communal pasture. The site was originally a site for grazing by nomadic trek farmers before 2016 when the current vineyard was established with bush vines planted on decomposed granite soils. 

This is a juicy, light Grenache with red fruits and delicate violet on the nose followed by hints of scrub and hops. Perfect for picnics.
