Champagne Huguenot-Tassin, Les Fioles Rosees, Champagne, France

A fruity, structured and complex, pink vintage champagne from Huguenot-Tassin. Mostly pinot noir with a splash of chardonnay macerated together before going through malolactic fermentation in tanks and then aged from 24-36 months. Clean and crisp with the raspberry, gooseberry rose and little pepper on the nose followed by pulpy and crunchy fruit on the palate with a great clay/marl minerality bringing a chewy, broad character. A great aperitif but will equally flourish alongside a meal.
