Casa de Mouraz, Bolinha, Dao, Portugal

Bolinha is a five year old maltese dog that helps out round the vineyards of Casa de Mouraz, a project started in 2002 by couple Sara Dionisio and Antonio Lopes Ribeiro in Antonio's home town of Mouraz. They aim to showcase their unique part of the world, and create wines that gently speak of their sandy granitic soils, their microclimate between two mountain ranges, and their unique collective energy. 

A field blend of indigenous dao varieties, grown on old vines at the foot of the Caramulo mountains. Co-harvested and co-vinified and left on skins for two months before ageing in steel for a year.

Aromatic herbs, citrus and stone fruits and a salty finish to boot.
