Bodegas Luis Pérez, Tintilla Carrascal, Andalusia, Spain

Luis Pérez, a professor of oenology and his son Willy come from a long line of sherry expertise and they've taken this knowledge and now produces wines as well as classic sherries. The grapes are sourced from El Corregidor Estate at one of the highest points of the Pago de Carrascal and the warmest of the historical Jerez sites. There are records of vines being cultivated at El Corregidor from as early as 1414 and being the best known estate on the Pago where they grow native grape varieties including Palomino Fino, Pedro Ximinez and the star of this wine - Tintilla de Rota which is genetically identical to Graciano. 

Dark earthy and spicy with soft chalkiness and great structure. Will age well.
