Antonio has a long history in the wine industry, including working as cellar master for Poggio Argentiera.
When Antonio decided it was time to do his own thing his own way he purchased two very old vineyards on the border of Lazio, between Sovana and Pitigliano, an area that has been making outstanding wines since the time of the Etruscans. His five hectares of vineyards are spread over various soil types and different micro-climates, but all influenced by the coastal breezes and tempering influence of the Mediterranean sea.
This wine is 100% Sangiovese, the great grape of Chianti, fermented for 12-15 days before being matured in concrete for 6 months.
A youthful, juicy red full of soft Tuscan tannins, perfect with spaghetti 'n meatballs!
