The Edit is our monthly selection of what's exciting and drinking well. Offered at a discounted price, it is three banging bottles to introduce you to our world of natural wine, to encourage you to delve deeper, or for a treat to yourself or as a gift.
This month we have chosen wines inspired by Robin's recent travels and in anticipation of some travel to come, later in the year.
With this month's Edit we venture to Burgenland in Austria and to the deep south of Italy.
This box set contains three bottles, one of each of the following wines, made by inspirational producers, the kind of wines which inspired us to start Iron & Rose back in 2016.

Heinrich, Naked Rose, Neusiedlersee-Hügelland, Burgenland, Austria - Gernot and Heike Henrich are life long innovators. Since taking over the family estate in 1985 they have constantly sought to improve and explore. Now farming biodynamically, which they see as being right for the planet and better for the wines, they were among the first to move to focus on quality and champion local grape varieties.
Naked wines are made with minimal intervention. Nothing to hide behind.
After hand-picking the grapes are kept partial whole-bunch, crushed and left on skins for a few hours maceration. Fermentation is with indigenous yeast, and is allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for five months on lees in amphorae, before bottling without filtration and with minimal sulphur.
Bright red berries, pure fruit, good concentration and a long dry finish.

Vigneti Tardis, Martedi, Paestum Rosso, Campania, Italy - Jack Lewins, former sommelier and co owner of Leroy in Shoreditch and Bruno (Mr Aglianico) de Concilis are the two driving forces behind Vigneti Tardis. Cilento may share the same varietals as Taurasi and Avellino but as a territory it differs greatly and in a region famed for its big, powerful wines Vigneti Tardis are offering much more delicate alternative.
This wine is one of a range called "La Settimana' (the week), each wine is named after a day of the week. Made from Aglianico it has the lovely rich, dark cherry fruit you would expect and hope for but with a delicacy and subtlety that is uncommon.
