Wine Tasting - Sensations - Tuesday 8th October

Our October tasting, on the theme of "Sensation",  is inspired by the Saatchi Gallery exhibition of the same name 27 years ago, which shook up the art scene showing the work of young British artists (YBAs), many of whom have since become household names. Our tasting will feature the rebel winegrowers who fought against the agrochemical mainstream and returned to a more natural, organic way of growing and making wine and those that came after, inspired by the work of those pioneers. Gloummelier in chief, Robin, will be presenting this tasting, on a subject close to his heart, pouring some of the truly delicious results of this gentle but important revolution in winemaking.

Tickets are £32.50 each for 5 wines and accompanying snacks

This event will be held at GlouGlou, our bar at Castle Quarter in Shrewsbury, starting at 7pm and finishing by around 9pm but the bar is open from 4pm to 11pm so there's plenty of time for another glass!
