They began Maçanita Vinhos in 2011 with aim of exhibiting the vast diversity of terroir of the Douro valley. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCima Corgo offers a slightly cooler continental climate than the rest of the Douro and is where some of the highest quality, single quinta ports are made. This climate brings a more jovial, floral and fresher expression of Touriga Nacional than what you might expect from the rest of the Douro.
