This wine is a blast from my past, working in Alsace.
Almost nothing has tasted better than that first glass of Edelzwicker after a day working in the vines. Traditionally a blend of local varieties for everyday drinking (and reviving tired workers) this one is a blend of Auxerrois (a cousin of Chardonnay) and Riesling. Dry but fruity, touches of spice and citrus, it'll have you dancing to the small hours.
